Transit connect doors wont lock. I have a ford transit van and the back doors wont lock at all but the front doors do. This happened on a 10 plate transit last year more than once. 2011 transit connect will not allow me to lock the doors anymore. Interior lights and door ajar light required extra slamming of drivers door to go out for several weeks.
Malfunctioning power door lock actuator. Now will not respond to even a hard door slam and vehicle with 8 000 in stock and parts is not lockable. Connect one on one with 0. The power door lock actuator is the part of the power door lock system that actually controls the locks.
Please can anyone help. I bought new remote key fob on ebay and it did work properly on my ford transit lwb 2003. The doors will lock. Understand that mine is a ford focus as opposed to a transit but it s still a ford and so may be similar and definitely worth considering in the short term in order to make sure you dont lose out on.
Leave key in the on position 2 program the fobs by pressing any key on the fob. Have you checked the vehicle s manual for this. After you push in the tab locking pin you release the key and let it go back to its vertical position. This means that the fob will lock and unlock all the passenger doors and i have to manually unlock and lock the drivers doors.
Then you rotate the door lock cylinder clockwise not the key. Ok i suspect the reason the door latch won t lock us that the bcmii thinks the door is still open can you give me the reg number so i can clarify the wiring details regards brian. Then lock it all up as normal. The doors locks will lock unlock 3 turn the key to off.
Sliding door lock not opening. If the lock cylinder does not rotate and it seems as if yours does not i am sure you thought of using some silicon spray. Locks will lock unlock and you are out of programming mode.
