Regular transfer tape is too sticky to move a contact paper decoration. I prefer to use clear contact paper to transfer my vinyl. The only exception to this is when you are using glitter vinyl it needs a super sticky transfer paper. As you peel the vinyl should come off the backing with the transfer tape.
